July 1, 2010 Stancil Ford Leaves Meeting with Help and Is Hospitalized

This picture of Commission Chair Stancil Ford talking to Commissioner Larry Baker was taken at yesterday's Hamblen County Commission meeting where the tax rate and budget for 2010-2011 was approved.  Right after the meeting concluded, Stancil Ford was helped out of the building and reportedly taken to M-H Hospital. [Several officials reported that Stancil had been in the Emergency Room earlier yesterday but had insisted on leaving the hospital so he could attend the county's brief budget meeting at 5:00 PM.  He got through the meeting, but he was obviously very disoriented and unfocused.]
