It's Tennessee Trivia Time.
How many legal holidays are observed in Tennessee?
And just for added fun, can you name them?

I'll post the answer here on the Ides of March. And that's NOT a state holiday.

Sadly, I am watching a new precedent be set in county government and it is one of robbing peter to pay paul and tax-payer becomes the pansy. I wish commisioner schwann would use his financial education as a building block to help rid the commission of the debt instead of create debt.
Education in Hamblen County has been on a steady decline in recent years and students are being screwed. Instead of 1.5 million for renovations why don't we focus on quality of education, higher graduation rates, lower illiteracy rates, higher work ethics. If Hambken County improves the education output then tax-payers will be more than willing to make the input for more schools. Look at Greene County - we have gladly paid higher taxes to fund education projects BUT our systems are results oriented.
What about lottery funds? I know there is a move to be able to use the funds as a way of building schools.
