January 20, 2012 DEA Agent Accidentally Shoots Himself in the Leg: Video Goes Viral

A DEA agent lecturing community youth accidentally shot himself in the leg (above).  

With self-control and presence of mind, he hung in there and attempted to turn the accident into a teachable moment about gun safety. 

With YouTube, this portion of the 2004 lecture has been seen by thousands.
