If the people fail to vote, a government will be developed which is not their government... The whole system of American Government rests on the ballot box. Unless citizens perform their duties there, such a system of government is doomed to failure.

After the election on tues. I have come to the conclusion not everyone should be allowed to vote. May I point out voting is not a right it is a responsibility and people need to educate themselves.
I believe that voting is both a right (where one meets age, residency, and all other qualifications) AND a responsibility.
I would agree that people should educate themselves about the issues and the candidates before voting.
