Ex-Judge Richard Baumgartner's attorneys are arguing that federal charges against Baumgartner are flawed because Baumgartner did not lie to federal authorities.
In a hearing on August 27, U.S. attorneys claimed that Baumgartner was part of a drug distribution conspiracy and lied to protect it.
